Building Fund
In 2023, PEB is celebrated 25 years since denationalization of PEB schools. After the Pakistani government nationalized all schools in 1972, the standard of education and quality of buildings deteriorated. Schools were returned from government control in 1998 to PEB. Today, PEB runs 25 schools in the Punjab region of Pakistan with more than 5,500 students in attendance. All schools are dedicated to providing quality education to all individuals regardless of race, religion or ability to pay.

In honor of 25 years since denationalization, PEB compiled a special magazine.

On December 2, 2023, Friends of PEB hosted a "Zoom Party" in honor of 25 years since denationalization of PEB schools in Pakistan. Executive Director Veda Gill and other staff members of PEB shared stories of the past and dreams for the future.
Thank you to all who joined us on the call. It was a wonderful time of celebration with the staff of PEB.
