Dr. Daud Nosham was born and raised in Lahore, Pakistan, and is an engineer and early-career researcher dedicated to advancing healthy buildings and energy-efficient data center technologies. He brings several years of professional experience in building construction and mechanical systems maintenance. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from UET Lahore, Pakistan and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Architectural Engineering from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, USA.

Dr. Daud currently serves as a Data Center Energy Systems Research Engineer at the National Laboratory of the Rockies (NLR), where he contributes to cutting-edge research on energy-efficient cooling technologies and thermal management solutions for high-performance computing data centers. His work integrates HVAC systems, thermal-fluid sciences, and advanced energy technologies to improve the energy efficiency and performance of critical infrastructure.

Passionate about education and mentorship, Dr. Daud is committed to strengthening STEM learning and workforce development. He has taught undergraduate and graduate level courses in building energy systems at the University of Nebraska, emphasizing evidence-based teaching practices. He also regularly delivers presentations for the United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP), mentoring prospective graduate students on admissions, scholarships, and career development. Through professional networks and digital platforms, he actively supports students in pursuing higher education and building successful careers in STEM education.
