Help build New classrooms at Kinnaird Academy

June 2026 Update: Construction on the administration building is almost complete,  is expected to be finished by the end of this month. This new building will immediately free up three classrooms (currently used for staff offices) in the main school building. Construction was delayed a few months due to fuel and supply shortages in Pakistan.

To keep this progress moving forward, funding is urgently needed to begin construction on the academic block, which will add nine new classrooms. Please consider contributing to help us move into the next phase without delay.

In a conservative Muslim area of Lahore, Kinnaird Academy is a rare place where something beautiful is happening; Christian and Muslim students learning side by side in a safe, values-based environment. Families are praying for the chance to enroll their children in this high-quality, English-based program built on love, respect, and faith.

But today, more than 200 children remain on the waiting list simply because there isn’t enough space.

We are launching a campaign to build a new classroom building with 9 classrooms and a new administration office building. This will open doors for over 200 more students while also moving current students out of makeshift spaces. Once the new administration block is complete, three large rooms currently serving as the principal’s office, vice- principal’s office, and admin office will be freed up for classroom use. Likewise, the library, music room and art room, currently being used as classrooms, will be restored to their proper purposes.

This expansion will:

  • Increase enrollment from 750 to over 950 students.

  • Provide proper classrooms for all children.

  • Restore the library, music room, and art room for learning enrichment.

  • Give more families access to safe, excellent education.

This is more than a building. It’s part of PEB’s mission to help reduce the 26 million children out of school in Pakistan.

Daud Nosham

Board Member
Dr. Daud Nosham was born and raised in Lahore, Pakistan, and is an engineer and early-career researcher dedicated to advancing healthy buildings and energy-efficient data center technologies. He brings several years of professional experience in building construction and mechanical systems maintenance. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from UET Lahore, Pakistan and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Architectural Engineering from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, USA.

Dr. Daud currently serves as a Data Center Energy Systems Research Engineer at the National Laboratory of the Rockies (NLR), where he contributes to cutting-edge research on energy-efficient cooling technologies and thermal management solutions for high-performance computing data centers. His work integrates HVAC systems, thermal-fluid sciences, and advanced energy technologies to improve the energy efficiency and performance of critical infrastructure.

Passionate about education and mentorship, Dr. Daud is committed to strengthening STEM learning and workforce development. He has taught undergraduate and graduate level courses in building energy systems at the University of Nebraska, emphasizing evidence-based teaching practices. He also regularly delivers presentations for the United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP), mentoring prospective graduate students on admissions, scholarships, and career development. Through professional networks and digital platforms, he actively supports students in pursuing higher education and building successful careers in STEM education.
