Friends of PEB supports the Presbyterian Education Board (PEB), a network of Christian-led schools in Pakistan that provide high-quality, affordable education to children of all faiths, with a strong emphasis on educating girls and serving underserved communities. In a country where many children, especially girls, are denied access to school, PEB schools offer a lifeline: safe, values-based classrooms led by trained local teachers, where students receive academic excellence and the opportunity to shape a better future.

The Education Fund is crucial to keep PEB schools running and students learning. It covers essential needs like school operations, classroom resources, teacher salaries, and scholarships for students who can’t afford tuition.
For the next year, building project funds are being focused to help PEB build a new block of classrooms at Kinnaird Academy in Lahore. This new building will consist of 9 classrooms and admin offices. This new addition will ensure students on the waitlist and more can be admitted to the school.
Behind every student’s opportunity is the work of the Friends of PEB team. Your gift to Friends of PEB Operations helps sustain our small but dedicated U.S.-based team who raise the critical funding that makes education possible in Pakistan. Without this team, PEB schools would not receive the consistent support they need to continue changing lives.
At Friends of PEB, we organize our fundraising into two main categories:
The Education Fund and the Building Fund.

The Education Fund supports everything PEB schools need to operate including scholarships for students in need, teacher salaries, curriculum, classroom materials and supplies, utilities, security, boarding house needs, and more.
The Building Fund supports construction projects to create safe, welcoming learning environments. While there are always ongoing Building Fund needs for repairs and renovations, Friends of PEB also focuses on one or two major school construction projects each year.
